More talent to Italy?

©IMAGO

FC Bayern is passing on two talents from the U23 to teams in the 2nd Bundesliga – two more are in focus in Italy. Defender Grayson Dettoni (20) is moving to SV Darmstadt 98, while midfielder Javier Fernández (19) is moving to 1. FC Nürnberg, including an extension in Munich. At Dettoni, the Lilies announced completion on Saturday afternoon. A short time later, Fernández’s move was also confirmed.

“Javier is an exciting talent in his position. It’s not without reason that he’s been able to get a taste of the first team a few times and play games for the Spanish U-national teams,” said Nuremberg’s sports director Joti Chatzialexiou about the new signing.

FC Bayern announced that Fernández had extended his contract in Munich until 2028 before the loan. “Javier Fernández was unfortunately unable to play for a long time in 2025 due to an injury, but is now 100 percent fit again and ready for professional football,” said sports director Christoph Freund. “He is a very good footballer, a physically strong midfielder who is a leader in each of his teams. He has also shown in the Youth League that he sets an example, especially when his team falls behind – a guy who takes things into his own hands. We are looking forward to the next few years with him and are sure that he will gain further valuable experience in Nuremberg.”

Dettoni with purchase option from FC Bayern to Darmstadt 98

Darmstadt confirmed that Dettoni would be on loan until the end of the season, but did not confirm that the deal included a purchase option. “Sky” had reported this in advance. According to the TV station, the amount of the contract clause depends on the American’s future performance with the Hessians. Lilien coach Florian Kohfeldt is said to have personally convinced Dettoni to move to Böllenfalltor.

“Grayson fits the profile of requirements we were looking for in central defense this winter,” emphasized sporting director Paul Fernie. “He is ambitious, but at the same time extremely willing to learn and ready to take on his intended role and put pressure on the competition. He was well trained at FC Bayern, has a remarkable understanding of the game and has good decision-making skills with the ball. He likes to defend forward and has the right mentality to be able to win his direct duels. We are happy to have another option in our squad with him.”

Dalpiaz & Licina from FC Bayern to Italy?

Bayern are also said to be in talks with AC Milan regarding the Austrian talent Magnus Dalpiaz (18). According to “Bild”, the right-back from the Munich amateurs is in the focus of the Rossoneri, who are therefore considering a loan with an option to buy. According to the newspaper, this is in the moderate single-digit million range. Dalpiaz would be the eleventh Austrian teenager to cost a seven-figure fee. The Munich-based company’s demand for a deal should be a buyback option. The Innsbruck player’s contract is valid until 2028.

Offensive talent Adin Licina (19) should also move to Italy. The destination: Juventus Turin. According to media reports, the Munich-based company should secure a resale share of 30 percent, but will not collect any transfer fees for the time being. Thanks to matching rights, FC Bayern will continue to have a hand on Licina in the future. If another club makes an offer, the German record champions would have to be informed and could intervene with the same offer.
