In the run-up to the club World Cup, FC Bayern secured the services of Jonathan Tah before it was the end of its contract at Bayer Leverkusen, but agreed in this context. How high this is is now certain after the quarter-finals against Paris Saint-Germain.
According to “Kicker”, around two million euros for Jonathan Tah’s missions in the United States before July 1, from the German record champions to the Werkelf.
The three group games against Auckland City (10: 0), Boca Juniors (2: 1) and Benfica (0: 1) and the round of 16 against Flamengo Rio de Janeiro (4: 2) were affected. Bayer Leverkusen collected 500,000 euros per game, Tah was used in all encounters for FC Bayern.
The deal was worthwhile for the Munich -based company. In addition to the entry fee, FC Bayern earned a full premiums of 21 million euros at the club World Cup – also thanks to Tah, which equalized the tense personnel situation in the defense center.
For comparison: Real Madrid, who now meets PSG after the 3-2 win in the quarter-finals against Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals, paid even ten million euros to FC Liverpool for the premature change from Alexander-Arnold.
FC Bayern had “on the radar” for a long time
FC Bayern announced the Tah obligation at the end of May. His contract in Munich is dated until June 30, 2029.
