Extension with goalkeeper possible
Bayern sports director Hasan Salihamidzic has ruled out goalkeeper Alexander Nübel returning to Munich next year. “In 2023 that will not happen. After that you have to see,” said Salihamidzic on Sunday evening on the “Sky” TV channel. The 26-year-old Nübel is on loan to AS Monaco until the end of this season, his contract with Bayern runs until 2025.
However, Salihamidzic plans to continue with national goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (36) as a regular keeper in Munich. “We’ll do the devil to tell Manuel you stop,” said the 45-year-old.
