Jule Brand gets another German teammate at OL Lyonnes. Goalkeeper Maria Luisa Grohs has signed a contract with the French top club until June 2027. The record winner of the Champions League announced this on Friday.
This ends the search for a new club for the 24-year-old. After the past season, Grohs was said goodbye to Bayern Munich. In seven years with the German champions, the goalkeeper won five championships and the DFB Cup twice. She is the first new addition to OL for the coming season.
In October 2024, Grohs was diagnosed with a tumor. Two months later she underwent successful neck surgery. In March 2025 she made her competitive comeback for Munich. Most recently, however, Grohs only played the role of substitute goalkeeper at Bayern.
