The footballers of FC Bayern Munich kept their small chance of winning the championship.

The defending champions won the penultimate Bundesliga matchday at Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 (3-0) and reduced the gap to leaders VfL Wolfsburg to one point.

However, VfL can complete their seventh championship title on Sunday (4:00 p.m. / MagentaSport) with a win at FC Carl Zeiss Jena, who have been relegated.

The three goals were scored within six minutes: Sydney Lohmann (38′) and international Giulia Gwinn (41′) scored, and Sylwia Matysik (44′) scored an own goal. Leverkusen remains without a win in the league this year.

If the still champions from Munich had lost, Wolfsburg would no longer have been able to take the title away.
