FC Bayern loses next game in EuroLeague

The weakened basketball players of FC Bayern Munich are increasingly losing sight of the playoff places in the EuroLeague.

In the last game of the year, the Bundesliga club lost to the traditional Serbian club Partizan Belgrade 77:83 (29:41) and conceded their eleventh defeat in the 16th game of the premier class.

Without the injured captain Vladimir Lucic, who played for Partizan from 2008 to 2013, and the national team players Andreas Obst and Niels Giffey, the Bayern team fell behind from the start. Three minutes before the end, Munich reduced the gap to three points, but the turnaround was no longer successful.

The best pitcher for the team of coach Andrea Trinchieri, who had been on the sidelines at Partizan from 2018 to 2020, was Othello Hunter with 16 points. In Belgrade, former Bayern center Mathias Lessort was the second-best thrower with 16 points behind Australian Dante Exum (19).
