FC Bayern in pole position with Zakaria? Manchester is apparently letting go of the Gladbach star

Denis Zakaria’s contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach expires in the summer of 2022, but the Gladbach star decided to extend it. Recently, the Swiss national player has been associated with many clubs. Now an English club seems to have dropped out of the race.

As the transfer expert Rudy Galetti from “TVdellosport” now reports on Twitter, Manchester United has stopped advertising Denis Zakaria.

According to the Telegraph, the Zakaria side and the English giants were already in “good talks”, but now there seems to have been a turnaround.

The central midfielder was reportedly worth six million euros to the Red Devils. The transfer expert left it open why the deal failed.

Allegedly, three other clubs are interested in the Gladbach star. According to Rudy Galetti, these are Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and the Italian record champions Juventus Turin. The Munich should currently have the edge. The “WAZ” recently reported that the reigning DFB Cup winner Borussia Dortmund is now “far removed” from an obligation.

Zakaria could replace Corentin Tolisso at Bayern Munich

BVB will probably not make any serious efforts to win Zakaria either in January or with a view to the coming summer, even if the midfielder is still on the market.

At Bayern, however, the Gladbach star could succeed Corentin Tolisso. The contractual relationship between the German record champion and the 2018 world champion ends next summer. However, according to “kicker”, a rethinking in the executive floor should be “quite possible”.

Julian Nagelsmann in particular seems to think a lot of the French international, as the coach has repeatedly spoken out strongly to his midfielder in recent months.
