The national and international clubs are planning for the coming second half of the season. All important news in the transfer ticker.
The German clubs are allowed to sign additional players until February 2nd (8 p.m.). At t-online you can find an overview of information about changes from Germany and around the world.
For a long time, Marc Guehi was considered a possible replacement in Bayern’s central defense if Dayot Upamecano did not extend his contract with the record champions. Now, according to Sky, the 25-year-old English international is moving to Manchester City, the club of former Munich coach Pep Guardiola.
The “Skyblues” will pay a transfer fee of around 30 million euros, plus around 3.5 million euros in bonus payments. Guehi himself is expected to receive a salary of over 20.7 million euros including possible bonuses. Sky expects the deal to be made official in the next two to four days.
FC Schalke 04 wants to loan goalkeeper Kevin Müller from Heidenheim until the end of the season. This is what Sky reports. The 34-year-old would like to move to the “Royal Blues” and is ready to do everything for the club’s possible promotion.
However, the final details still need to be clarified between the clubs. Müller, who was demoted in Heidenheim before the season and replaced by Diant Ramaj in goal, was recently discussed by Hamburger SV for a loan in the winter. According to Sky, the goalkeeper will be ready for a medical check as soon as an agreement is reached.

The former Munich resident Douglas Costa is apparently pursuing a strange plan. As Sky Sport Italia reports, the 35-year-old is close to moving to Italian fourth division club Chievo Verona – only to join Al-Ettifaq in Dubai after the season. The president of Al-Ettifaq, Pietro Laterza, is also the owner of Chievo. An oral agreement is said to have already been reached.
