Clash with police: Boycott by Bayern fans

The FC Bayern supporters were also looking forward to the top game at BVB. But an incident before kick-off with the police sparked anger.
In the first half of the Bundesliga classic at Borussia Dortmund, the fans of FC Bayern Munich were noticeably reserved with their support. According to t-online information, some of the Bayern fans left the away block before the game began. The reason: a clash with the police. They then watched the game from behind the stands.
According to the TV channel Sky, the reason was a dispute between the police and parts of the record champions’ organized fan scene. In protest and in solidarity with the affected supporters, the fans then decided to hold back on chanting and cheering.
