FC Bayern | Contract extension? Musiala is “very relaxed”

National soccer player Jamal Musiala wants to reach for the biggest possible title with FC Bayern.

“The Champions League is simply the most important title in club football,” the 20-year-old told the evening newspaper: “Winning this title is a big goal of mine.”

The upcoming final at London’s Wembley Stadium in particular would be very special for him personally, “since I grew up in London,” said Musiala: “We will give everything as a team, but at this level, daily form is also crucial and that all players are fit and stay healthy.”

Musiala’s biggest competitors in the premier class include defending champions Manchester City and record winners Real Madrid, but also the resurgent Arsenal FC.

According to the offensive player, he feels right at home at FC Bayern under coach Thomas Tuchel. “I get great input from Thomas and his team. He works in detail and gives me lots of tips so I can improve, I like that.”

A reason to extend his contract, which runs until 2026, early? He is still “very relaxed,” emphasized Musiala, who also feels very comfortable in the team – also thanks to his new partner on the offensive. “With Harry Kane,” emphasized Musiala, “we have got an outstanding goalscorer with whom I can combine very well.”
