After the market value updates in Europe’s major leagues, Transfermarkt has again lined up the Bundesliga’s most valuable eleven – for the last time with the most valuable player in league history, Erling Haaland (21). Before the Dortmund striker switched to Manchester City, there were three differences in the top eleven by market value compared to March 2022 – the total value has increased by 2 million euros.
First and foremost, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich no longer hold the sole supremacy in the highest market values. Bayer Leverkusen’s top talent Florian Wirtz (19) had a market value of 70 million euros three months ago, but at that time Munich’s Serge Gnabry (26) and Leon Goretzka (27) were given preference due to his cruciate ligament tear. However, both were devalued by 5 million euros in the last update, which means that Wirtz alone takes first place in his position. Leroy Sané (26) was also devalued – by 10 million to 60 million euros. As a result, his teammate Jamal Musiala (19) now has 65 million euros on the left wing.

RB Leipzig’s top scorer Christopher Nkunku (24) made the biggest jump in market value of all Bundesliga professionals this season – and one of the ten biggest worldwide. The French went up by 37 million to 80 million euros overall. After Haaland’s departure, assuming he stays with the Saxons, he will be the most valuable player in the Bundesliga together with Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham (18) and Bayern’s Joshua Kimmich (27).
