FC Bayern: Benjamin Pavard with a tough announcement

Benjamin Pavard has apparently once again emphatically submitted his change request to those responsible at FC Bayern.

At least that’s what “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg reports. Accordingly, the French vice world champion had informed the German record champions again in the last few days that he wanted to leave the club immediately.

An extension of the 27-year-old’s contract, which expires in 2024, has long been ruled out.

Against this background, FC Bayern is probably willing to talk to Pavard to collect a transfer fee – especially since Kyle Walker from Manchester City is a top alternative for the right-back position on the Munich shopping list.

Where Pavard could go is open. Most recently, German media had brought Liverpool FC up for discussion as a possible buyer. It was said that talks had already taken place between the Reds and Pavard’s management.

English transfer expert Neil Jones denied these speculations in an interview with “The Redmen TV”.

FC Bayern: Also Lucas Hernández before the jump?

“You always have to be careful with stories like this because contradicting transfer stories from other good journalists is always a dangerous thing. But I spoke to people at Liverpool and they disagreed. They said it wasn’t true. We are not interested. He’s not a target,” Jones said.

Pavard had previously been traded at FC Barcelona. However, the Catalans’ squad planning is complicated by their immense financial problems.

In addition to Pavard, FC Bayern may also lose his compatriot Lucas Hernández to the competition.

The 27-year-old central defender reportedly wants to move to Paris Saint-Germain. For him, Munich is said to be demanding a transfer fee of at least 50 million euros. Pavard should be a little cheaper.
