FC Bayern remains the measure of all things in the Bundesliga. Not everything works against the bottom of the table, but a lot works – that’s enough in the end.

Gladbach played outnumbered from the 19th minute onwards because Jens Castrop was shown the red card after a bad foul against Luis Díaz. Bayern struggled as the game progressed, but got better and better, especially in the second half. First Joshua Kimmich (64th) scored to make it 1-0, a little later Raphaël Guerreiro (70th) and Lennart Karl (81st) followed up with a great shot. Gladbach’s Kevin Stöger missed a penalty in the 75th minute.
