FC Bayern “an option” for VfB Stuttgart snapper Serhou Guirassy

FC Bayern should definitely have a chance in courting striker Serhou Guirassy from VfB Stuttgart.

“If Bayern are really serious, Choupo-Moting leaves in the summer and Tel wants to be loaned out in the end, then it would be an option for Guirassy,” said “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg, who is well connected when it comes to transfers.

According to the TV station’s information, there is still no contact between FC Bayern and the players’ side. A meeting is also said not to have taken place yet. However, like many other clubs, the German record champions are well informed about Guirassy’s contract situation at VfB Stuttgart, it is said.

The attacker’s contract in the country runs until 2026. Thanks to an exit clause, Guirassy can leave VfB in the winter for a transfer fee of 17.5 million euros. In the summer the amount is expected to amount to a good 20 million euros.

“The current trend is for him to stay at VfB in the winter,” Plettenberg made clear.

FC Bayern: Harry Kane number one in attack

According to the media report, the fact that he would have to line up behind superstar Harry Kane speaks against Guirassy’s move to FC Bayern next season. The 30-year-old Englishman is set in Munich without any ifs and buts.

While Guirassy scored 17 times for VfB Stuttgart in the current Bundesliga season, Kane already has an incredible 21 goals. The Three Lions’ record goalscorer has his sights firmly set on the historical record of 41 goals set by his “predecessor” Robert Lewandowski.

Guirassy is said to have not only attracted the attention of FC Bayern with his top performances. The 27-year-old is also being heavily traded by top clubs in the English Premier League and the Italian Serie A.
