FC Basel has parted ways with head coach Patrick Framework.
As the traditional Swiss football club announced, assistant Guillermo Abascal will take over as interim coach for the third-placed Super League team until the end of the season.
The traditional club was already up for grabs during the winter break, but he was given a grace period.
“Due to the unsatisfactory overall sporting development and the lack of a clear perspective in this regard,” they were now forced to separate, the club’s statement said.
Frame Basel had been training since April 2021, his contract ran until the summer of 2023.
