Questioned by Leo Messihas said that “I thought I would go to Miami because it was the most natural decision: open a market in the United States. The adaptation was easy, you live well because of the climate, the food… It will help the North American League grow. Return to Barça? Piqué has also acknowledged that he did not consider continuing playing football after playing for Barça because his idea was “hanging up my boots at the club of my life”. He added that he did not have any offer from Arabia and that FC Barcelona does not owe him anything because “I was the one who decided to leave.” He understands that he did not forgive the year and a half that he had signed “for a significant amount” precisely because it was he who made the decision to leave football.
He added that “Xavi is the ideal coach for Barça and the players follow him” and? “Of all the young players that are now in the Barça squad, I prefer Gavi. What he has done at 19 years old is brutal.”
