Lasse Günther is apparently about to be loaned to the 2nd Bundesliga. after the “Augsburg General” had reported last week of loose interest from SSV Jahn Regensburg, the deal is loud “Sport1” now in dry cloths. The 19-year-old left winger leaves FC Augsburg for one season, a purchase option should not be included.
Günther returned to the Fuggerstadt team from the FC Bayern youth team on a free transfer in the summer of 2021, after having gone through the youth teams from the U15s with the record champions. In the past season, the left-footed player was used in seven games for the Augsburg pros and had to play ten times in the regional league team. Since there was no prospect of more regular Bundesliga games under the new coach Enrico Maassen, the former junior international should try his luck in the lower house. Günther’s contract with FCA runs until 2025.
