Bundesliga club FC Augsburg awarded defense lawyer David Colina to NK Osijek until the end of the season. The Croatian first division team secured a purchase option in the course of the deal, as the Fuggerstadt said. The rental fee is said to be 100,000 euros.
At the FCA, the former Croatian U21 international has a contract until 2027. In the past year and a half, Colina, who switched to FCA in January 2023, played for the Danish club Vejle BK, where he played a total of 39 competitive games.
“In view of the strong competition on the left defense side, a renewed loan for David is the best option. In Croatia, he gets the chance of regular missions and can develop in sports. We wish him every success,” said Managing Director Michael Ströll.
Colina herself explained: “I am pleased to return to my homeland Croatia. My goal is to get many minutes of use and to prove myself on the pitch. Thank you to the FCA responsible for meeting my change of change.”
