Fathers and mothers with ‘rotten children’ come to therapist Anne Hartmans: ‘Parents are sometimes desperate’

“With tearful eyes the boy said ‘so I’m not crazy?’ The relief that followed was so beautiful to see,” says child therapist Anne Hartmans about a ten-year-old boy she guided last year. “He came in and responded to all my questions politely and politely, but unmoved.
