Father John Misty announces US and European tour – a concert in Germany

Father John Misty has announced a major tour. In July and August 2022, the songwriter wants to play 35 concerts in North America. A few months later, in February, March and April 2023, eleven shows are to follow in Europe, including an exclusive one in Germany: On March 3, Father John Misty will be performing in Berlin’s Columbiahalle, presented by Musikexpress.

Father John Misty’s new album CHLOË AND THE NEXT 20TH CENTURY will be released April 8, 2022 via Sub Pop / Bella Union on CD, LP, limited vinyl versions (including a cover by Lana Del Rey), cassette and digital. Josh Tillman, Father John Misty’s real name, released his first new single in January: Listen to “Funny Girl” here in the stream.

As Father John Misty, the 40-year-old has released four solo albums so far, the current GOD’S FAVORITE COSTUMER was released in 2018. Before that he released eight solo albums as J. Tillman. He was also active as a drummer with the Fleet Foxes and recorded their second album HELPLESSNESS BLUES (2011) with them.
