A young man (20) with a bleeding arm injury is taken from a residential building on Forster Strasse by paramedics. He saved his mother from being attacked with a machete. The attacker is his own father – shortly afterwards he is carried out of the house dead!
Shortly after midnight, the police were alerted to the old building on Tuesday night. Key word domestic violence!
An injured 20-year-old and his shocked mother (52) are waiting in an apartment on the first floor of the rear building. The father and husband (49) lies lifeless on the ground. Emergency doctor and paramedic try for three quarters of an hour to resuscitate the man. He no longer regains consciousness and dies in the apartment.

According to police investigations, he attacked his wife and threatened her with a machete! The son intervened protectively. There was a scuffle between the two, in which the father suddenly collapsed.
Mother and son were taken to the hospital, which they were later able to leave. The father’s body is in the coroner’s office.
The 8th homicide commission and the public prosecutor’s office are now investigating. An autopsy should clarify whether the attacker died of natural causes or through a fight with his son.

It is still unclear why the father of the family attacked. He was caretaker in the house. Neighbors describe the family as helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. The 49-year-old was very proud of his son, who successfully completed his high school diploma last year.
