The 36-year-old motorist who was involved in a fatal accident in Oss on Saturday evening was released again. In the accident, a 17-year-old boy died on a fatbike. The police announced on Monday afternoon that the question of guilt will be discussed later.
The driver was arrested as a suspect after the accident. “That is a standard procedure in such a serious accident with a fatal outcome and says nothing about the question of guilt,” says a police spokesperson. “In any case, the arrested driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.”
According to bystanders, the motorist would have driven way too fast, but the police cannot confirm that. Camera images are still being viewed and witnesses are heard. The co -driver was also interrogated on Sunday, but that person was not detained.
