A 44-year-old man from Ter Apel died tonight in a one-sided accident on Schoonloërstraat (N374) near Westdorp.
A one -sided accident took place around 9 p.m. The driver was seriously injured and died of his injuries.
The road is currently closed to traffic. Research is being done into the cause of the accident.
