Fat bike ban in Vondelpark, but it will take ‘a year’ before they really disappear: ‘I know a few shortcuts’

Fat bike users really have to believe it now. From Monday, May 11, a ban on fat bikes will apply in Amsterdam’s Vondelpark. The municipality hopes this will put an end to the growing nuisance in the busy city park. “Because the introduction of national rules takes a long time and the nuisance continues to increase, we are now introducing this first area ban in the city.”
