The French Football Federation banned the suspension of matches in order for Muslim football players to break their fast.
The federation, which sent an e-mail to the Federal Commission of Referees (CFA) yesterday, requested that the matches not be interrupted in order for Muslim football players to break their fast.
In the e-mail, the 1st article of the federation’s statute states, “Football does not take into account the political, religious, ideological or trade union views of its players. It is the responsibility of all parties to ensure that this principle, which is binding for everyone, is respected.” statement was included.
