Faster diagnosis of rare diseases possible thanks to new method by Belgian scientists

Researchers from the Leuven Center for Human Genetics (CME) have developed a new test that detects both genetic and epigenetic abnormalities in a single analysis. UZ Leuven, to which CME belongs, announced this in a press release on Wednesday. The new method allows rare diseases to be diagnosed more quickly.
