The fashion division of Rochas belongs again to Interparfums, the Paris-based subsidiary of the US group Inter Parfums Inc.

At the beginning of next year, the French brand’s fashion business will be managed entirely by the owner Interparfums, Rochas announced on Wednesday. All marketing, communication and licensing activities for the mainline Rochas Fashion, which has been run by partner company HIMCO for the past two years, will be handled by Interparfums.

HIMCO was commissioned in 2021 by the previous creative director Charles de Vilmorin to lead the development of the Rochas line. The Bergamo-based company will remain in charge of production, while Interparfums das Rochas “leads into its next fashion chapter,” according to the statement.

De Vilmorin’s contract as creative director expired at the end of March, leaving the designer after just over two years. Since then, the creative studio of the fashion house has been responsible for the collections. The next collection for SS24 will be presented at Paris Fashion Week in September.
