The Fashion Council Germany (FCG) and the Berlin Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Companies expand the “Berlin Fashion X International” project on the Asian market.
In addition to a delegation trip to Seoul in South Korea, which will take place from September 1 to 5, the FCG is now also organizing a trip to Tokyo in Japan from November 3 to 7. The aim of the initiative is to make access to international markets easier for the participating brands and to sustainably strengthen the visibility and exportability of Berlin fashion brands. In particular, Japan’s interest in German fashion and accessories labels can be felt, which has been shown at the Berlin Fashion Week, the FCG writes in a press release.
The expansion to the Asian market is an important step towards internationalization. Tokyo and Seoul are among the most relevant Asian cities in the fashion sector and establish themselves as international fashion metropolises.
Interested designers: Inside and Brands for Tokyo can apply for participation by August 17th. The final participants are then selected from all submissions.
The twelve delegates of the Seoul trip have already been determined.
