TVWho are the four farmers and the farmer’s wife from the fourteenth season of ‘Boer zkt Vrouw’? For the time being, Flanders has not yet been able to see their face. Even the singles who signed up looking for the love of their lives don’t know what (or who) awaits them. Their identity will finally be revealed on Sunday 6 March, when the new series will start on VTM.
In the first two episodes, the patience of the candidates is rewarded. They registered on the basis of a few vague photos, a short sound fragment and an extensive portrait of the life of the farmer or farmer’s wife. Now they get to see them for the first time. Does he or she look like they imagined? Both the candidates and the farmers are tense at the start of this new romantic adventure. The identities of William and Elien are revealed in Episode 1. Garry, Cyriel and Kim are next in line in episode 2.
These are the farmer’s wife and farmers taking their chance:
Elien (from Lommel), 26 years old and full of spunk, runs a dairy farm with her dad. She is the third generation on the farm. Farm life is her great passion and she especially loves working with her dad. On the farm Elien is a fairly business-like person, but this young lady is very social and has many friends that she likes to go out with in the evenings. It is then important for her to look good and that includes make-up and jewelry.
William (from Westerlo), 25 years old, loves horses and… bulls. He is more like a cowboy but at the same time very level-headed and lives on the ranch with his dad. Most importantly, according to his colleague and best friend Maxine, William needs someone who really understands and supports his special lifestyle. Besides looking after horses and bulls, rodeo is his passion and he occasionally poses as a model. The women will therefore not quickly get bored on the ranch.
potato farmer Kim (from Gingelom) is 30 years old, has southern looks and runs the farm with his dad. The division between him and his father goes smoothly, although it is a lot of work for two men. Kim has been single for a few years after a broken relationship. He is an open book, talks a lot and fluently, has ambition and is really looking for a serious relationship. After a few failed attempts, he hopes to get to know someone through the program who can convince him to believe in love again, because now the right one can come for him.
Garry (from Heist-op-den-Berg) is 45 years old, a goat farmer and always in a good mood. His 30-year relationship with his wife recently came to an end, but he is all set for a new chapter in his life. Garry is a real bon vivant: he likes to travel, loves nothing more than a good meal and often meets with friends. Only: he would rather share this with someone by his side.
And then finally there is Cyriel (29), a dairy farmer from Vleteren. Together with his parents, he runs a farm with approximately 450 cows, 250 of which are dairy cows. Cyriel is not necessarily looking for a woman who will actively participate in the farm, but it is important that she really understands that the animals and crops always come first. He is a friendly and cheerful young man, has beautiful blue eyes and a very mischievous smile. He has been single for a while and is mainly looking for someone who open minded and likes to discover new things.
