Farfetch hires new marketing chief from Tiktok

Farfetch appoints Nick Tran as new Chief Marketing Officer.

He will work for Farfetch in London, the luxury retailer announced on Thursday. Reporting to Edward Sabbagh, Farfetch’s Chief Marketplace Officer, Tran is responsible for global marketing for the Farfetch marketplace.

The new head of marketing brings more than 20 years of experience in building brands and developing innovative marketing strategies. He has worked in media, entertainment and customer engagement at companies such as Taco Bell, Samsung and Hulu, most recently at Tiktok. At the short video app he worked as Global Head of Marketing. This also gives him knowledge of a younger audience, enabling him to support Farfetch with the Gen Z and Millennial customer segments. He has also received several prizes and awards for his work. This includes several Cannes Lions Marketing Awards. Forbes named him one of the “Most Influential CMOs” in 2021.
