André van Duin puzzle
Comic artist René Leisink made a drawing in honor of André’s 75th birthday with no fewer than forty characters on it. From his character Willempie to All of Holland bakes: everything from André’s career is discussed. Not only the types from the old box are discussed, but also the number for example Forever that he recently recorded with singer Danny Vera and his beautiful speech he gave at the Remembrance Day last year. And that makes the puzzle very topical.
Proceeds to KWF
The puzzle consists of a thousand pieces and costs € 17.95. Here can you buy it. Part of the proceeds go to KWF Kankerbestrijding, a cause that is close to André’s heart. He lost his husband Martin to the effects of bone cancer and shortly afterwards got colon cancer himself, from which he is fortunately cured.
75th birthday
André celebrated his 75th birthday on February 20. This was discussed extensively. The best man not only got his own puzzle, but also his own dune and his own tulip. A lot of attention was also paid to the festive day on TV.
