The story of Tore is tough, but the book is not a heavy cost, not a depressing story. It is a book about life. “You don’t avoid fear and sorrow, but you still see that there is room for airiness, beauty, connection, actually very intensely beautiful moments,” says Mathias Sercu. “That makes it recognizable. That ensures that you as a reader can connect. ”
