Fake officers kept the police busy yesterday in Beilen. Four reports were received in a period of two and a half hours. An 82-year-old woman was actually scammed.

Around 6 p.m., the resident of Karspelstraat received a call from someone posing as a police officer, the police reported on social media. An unknown man then came to the woman’s home to collect valuables. The suspect received an unknown amount of money and jewelry.
