Facebook parent company Meta and online store Amazon are scaling back diversity initiatives

Social media company Meta, parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, and online store group Amazon will scale back a number of their initiatives in the field of diversity and inclusion. Other American companies, such as fast food chain McDonald’s and retail chain Walmart, have previously taken similar steps.
