Sportswear brand Fabletics appoints Thomas Fröhlke as new Vice President Wholesale for Europe.
Fröhlke will take up his new role as head of wholesale at Fabletics Europe from October and will expand the B2B division from the brand’s European headquarters in Berlin, reports trade magazine Retail Times. Under Fröhlke’s leadership, the company will establish new trading partnerships throughout the region.
“I am thrilled to be able to support such a rapidly growing brand in the activewear category with Fabletics as it moves from D2C business to B2B sales and to be able to build this new business area for Europe,” said Fröhlke. “With the high brand awareness and the many loyal customers, Fabletics offers great potential for our new trading partners after almost ten years of pure online sales via the Fabletics website in Europe.”
The designated wholesale boss for Europe is moving to the brand from shoe retailer Hunter Boots, where he most recently served as sales manager during his four years with the company. During this time, Fröhlke is said to have contributed to the “successful territorial expansion of the brand” as well as to the “increase in sales through new strategic key partners”. He previously held various management positions at brands such as Canada Goose and Ralph Lauren.
