The world champion signs the best time after updates on the RB21, second plest. The British goes to the wall and insults: “What an idiot”. Leclerc Quarto, Hamilton Settimo
Incredible Max Verstappen. The world champion conquered the pole position of the Arabia GP, fifth test of the 2025 world championship, with an amazing 1’27 “294 – track record – of only 10 thousandths under the time of Oscar Piastri. Very fast with McLaren, but not enough for the unleashed four times world champion. Once again the Dutch has gone beyond the limits of his Red Bull (which still brought a corposo) and McLaren mocked, who seemed to be walking throughout the weekend. Verstappen, capable of extracting from his RB21 what no one else is able to do.
Norris, still a mistake
–
The most relevant news of this qualification is definitely the accident in Q3 of Lando Norris in curve 4. The world champion leader has lost control of his McLaren after an aggressive passage on a curb and slammed against the wall, thus putting an end to his hunt for pole. “What an idiot” commented by Radio Lando, once again the author of a heavy mistake just as he was in full struggle with the Australian teammate. For him, therefore, at least, the departure from tenth place and therefore an all -up race is expected. A golden occasion for piastri, which tomorrow can conquer precious points for overtaking at the top of the ranking.
