The Dutchman Andreas (48) has been living in Russia for seven years, where he teaches English in a private school. Because of his wife and child, he can’t just leave, so he stays in his new motherland, which is becoming increasingly autocratic and repressive. Today he went to the Victory Day Parade for us, but instead of blaring patriotism he found a moderately enthusiastic crowd.
