A few dozen protesters from Extinction Rebellion (XR) protested today at the NAM headquarters in Assen. The promotion is part of the Surgerya three -day protest in which XR takes action at companies that receive fossil subsidies.

Both shareholders of NAM, Shell and ExxonMobil are high on the list of companies that receive fossil subsidies from the Dutch State. Around 25 members of XR also protested at the Eemshavencentrale RWE in Groningen.
