Archaeological masterpieces were stolen during an art theft on the night from Friday to Saturday at the Drents Museum in Assen, the Netherlands. Public prosecutor Debby Homans said this on Saturday at a press conference in the museum. The thieves gained access to the museum using explosives, which shattered several windows.
