Expensive mistake during landing: KLM aircraft scrapes the ground with its tail

A KLM aircraft, an Airbus A312neo, scraped its tail on the ground during landing in Lisbon, Portugal on Tuesday. No one was injured in the incident. The damage is visible in a photo taken of the tail. KLM is grounding the aircraft for the time being for inspection and repair work. Passengers were taken to their destination on a replacement aircraft.
