Exclusive. Asylum applications and personal information of hundreds of asylum seekers with old paper dumped at campsite

Personal details of 250 asylum seekers have been left in a garbage container of a campsite in the Walloon Theux who serves as an asylum reception place in the winter. The HLN research cell was shown from the hundreds of documents: asylum applications with photo, name and date of birth, in addition to documents with family and medical data. Fedasil admits the data breach: “We regret this. Therefore, there is an internal investigation into the facts to find out where the mistake is.”
