Tarjei Bø only ended his career a few weeks ago. Now he announced a happy news: his wife is pregnant again.

The long-time biathlon star Tarjei Bø receives family growth. As the 36-year-old and his wife Gita Simonsen announced via Instagram, the couple awaits his second child.

The photo of the joint contribution shows Simonsen, who smiles in the camera. She was photographed from the side, her white T-shirt pulled up. So promote well: you are already slightly arched by pregnancy.

Simonsen wrote about the picture: “Soon it will be closer in the car and more love at home, because we get growth in our family.”

Bø and Simonsen already have a son called Aron. This was born in 2022 – but not without complications. The doctors had to release him by emergency caesarean section.

Under the post, some companions also congratulated the couple on Simonsen’s pregnancy. The Norwegian ex-biathlete Marte Olsbu Røiseland reacted with several emojis. Julian Eberhard, former biathlete from Austria, commented: “All the best”.

Hedda Dæhli Bø, the wife of Tarjeis brother Johannes Thingnes, also spoke up. “Love !!!”, she wrote under the post.

Tarjei and Johannes Thingnes Bø announced their resignation from biathlon sports in January. For years, the two have been part of the absolute top of the world, crowned themselves to the Olympic champion and cleared numerous medals at World Championships.
