Ex-Bundesliga star surprised in the extravagant outfit

At Bundesliga game between Gladbach and Leipzig, a former striker of the “foal” was a guest in the stands. Particularly noticeable: his outfit.

He is probably one of the most dazzling personalities of the Bundesliga history: Mohamadou Idrissou. The former striker pattered purely sporty with a variety of hits at his numerous clubs in the 1st and 2nd league. Again and again, he caused controversy away from the square and was involved in legal proceedings several times for various reasons.

His derogatory statement towards teammates also remains unforgettable in his time at SC Freiburg. So the 45-year-old is said to have said at the time: “I don’t feel like playing with you anyway. I will play in the Champions League next year.”

His football shoes gave up Idrissou 2021. On Saturday he appeared again at a Bundesliga game. At the game of his ex-club Borussia Mönchengladbach against RB Leipzig (1-0), he was a guest in the stands. The camera presented himself in an extravagant outfit. Would you have recognized him?

A black hat with a wide clamp was sitting on the Idrissou’s head. But that’s not all: he was also dressed in a dark, patterned suit, under which he wore a white shirt. Then he had put a special eye -catcher over his shoulders: a felt coat in a strong emerald green.

In between, Idrissou rounded off the outfit with his sunglasses. The ex-attacker reminded a little of a mafioso. A very special choice of clothes.

In fact, it is not the first time that Idrissou appears in an extravagant fashion. On his Instagram profile, he always shows himself in colorful suits, sometimes in green, sometimes in yellow, but also in pink, black, blue or white. A suitable hat is also missing in any of the pictures.

Idrissou looks back on a versatile football career. He started his career in Cameroon before moving to Germany in 2001. There he played for FSV Frankfurt, Hannover 96, MSV Duisburg and SC Freiburg. In 2009 he contributed significantly to the rise of the Breisgauer to the Bundesliga.

This was followed by stations at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt and the 1st FC Kaiserslautern. For the Palatinate, Idrissou scored almost every second league game (30 goals in 61 games). Later he was active again abroad, also played in underclass German leagues.
