Former police chief Glenn Audenaert, who previously lost his retirement due to a fraud case, gets it completely back. The Court of Appeal in Ghent has decided that. Audenaert had to hand in his pension after the tax authorities claimed a tax in 2024 on so -called fraudulent amounts with which he will still be confronted in a criminal case. But Audenaert continues to deny and disputed the requirement of 600,000 euros, including fines and interest. Het Nieuwsblad writes that.
