Ex-Mainzer Plücke moves to Switzerland to Servette FC

Roda JC contract ends

The former Mainz and Dortmund player Patrick Plücke (25) will play for Servette FC in Switzerland. As reported by the first division club, the attacker has signed a contract until 2024. Picking is available on a free transfer as his contract with the Dutch second division club Roda JC Kerkrade expires at the end of the season.

“The arrival of Patrick Plücke is the perfect start to the transfer phase for the club. His ability to be decisive in the last third will strengthen our offensive,” commented sporting director Philippe Senderos on the signing. The former junior national player Plücke moved from KFC Uerdingen to Kerkrade in 2020, where he contributed 27 goals and 21 assists in 78 games. Most recently, the club missed promotion to the Eredivisie.
