Ex-Bundesliga defender
Former Bundesliga professional Kyriakos Papadopoulos returns to his home country of Greece. The 30-year-old centre-back has signed a contract with Super League 1 bottom side PAS Lamia.
Papadopoulos joined FC U Craiova in Romania from Atromitos Athens in July 2022 and made nine appearances there, but they went their separate ways at the end of January. His new employer PAS Lamia is in the semi-finals of the Greek Cup. Should the club prevail against PAOK Thessaloniki, the first place in the final would be perfect.
