Guardiola: “I won’t leave Man City to go to another country”
In an interview he revealed that Manchester City would be the Spaniard’s last stop in club football. Guardiola said this after his contract extension in an interview with the Spanish celebrity chef Dani Garcia, who published the conversation on YouTube.
“I feel like it’s enough. I’m going to stop. I’m not going to take over any other team,” said the former Bayern coach: “I’m not talking about the long-term future, but I’m not going to leave Man City to go to another country “Go and do exactly the same thing you’re doing now.”
Back door National team?
He wouldn’t have the energy for that. “The thought of starting somewhere else, all the training and so on. No, no, no. Maybe a national team, but that’s something different,” explained the 53-year-old. Because then there would be time for a round of golf in between.
Last month, the Catalan extended his contract with Manchester City until 2027. In addition to six Premier League titles, he won the Champions League with the Citizens in 2023 and was also able to celebrate the FA Cup twice.
