Ex-BVB star Erling Haaland waving fat million bonuses

The former BVB professional Erling Haaland apparently has ample additional income in view of the historic triple chance of his new club Manchester City.

As the British “Sun” reports, Haaland would each collect one million pounds (1.13 million euros) if ManCity won the Premier League championship and the Champions League title.

In the league, coach Pep Guadiola’s team is currently leading the table with a one-point lead over pursuers Arsenal. In the premier class, City is in the semifinals against Real Madrid.

The Sky Blues are also on course for the title in the FA Cup. On June 3rd (4:00 p.m.) the derby will take place in the final against city rivals Manchester United. A win there would reportedly bring Haaland £350,000 (€395,000).

In addition, there is the same sum for the top scorer in the Premier League, which the 22-year-old Norwegian is almost certain to have thanks to his 35 goals this season.

It is said that other personal awards are also endowed with rich bonus payments in his contract.

Should Haaland even follow in the footsteps of the reigning award winner Lionel Messi and win the Ballon d’Or 2023, he can expect another million pounds.

New mega contract for ex-BVB star Erling Haaland?

In any case, the former BVB goalscorer rakes in a lot in Manchester: his salary at City is said to be £375,000 (€430,000) – per week, of course.

And that’s not all: the club is said to be working on extending Haaland’s contract, which runs until 2027 anyway, and then probably at even higher salaries. Potential prospects for Haaland should be drained of the water from the outset in this way.

Recently it became known that an exit clause of 150 million euros for the summer of 2024 is no longer valid. According to media reports, this was directly linked to the future of coach Pep Guardiola and expired when the Spaniard extended his contract until 2025 last November.
