Ex-BVB coach Şahin reaches an agreement with a new club

After the end of BVB, Nuri Şahin is apparently faced with his next commitment. A quick restart indicates in Turkey.
The next stop in Nuri Şahin’s coaching career has apparently already been determined. Turkish media unanimously report that the 37-year-old is about to move to Başakşehir FK. Accordingly, both sides are said to have fundamentally agreed on cooperation. An official announcement of the change is expected for Monday.
It was only in January that Borussia Dortmund separated from Şahin after the end of the Champions League against FC Bologna. Those responsible reacted to a continuing sporting descent of the Bundesliga club under the direction of their former midfielder.
At the Istanbul club Başakşehir, the separation of head coach Çağdaş Atan was already confirmed at the beginning of the week. The association spoke of mutually acceptable termination of the employment relationship, without calling any further reasons.
