Ex-Bundesliga professional Wilson Kaavuaka terminates contract with Helsinki IFK

Midfielder Wilson Kaavuaka has mutually terminated his contract with Finnish club Helsinki IFK, which originally ran until the end of the year. The 32-year-old joined Veikkausliiga club in March and has played seven games (one goal) since then. His focus is on a return to Germany, the right footer tells Transfermarkt. He is currently in talks with two clubs.

Kaavuaka, who trained at 1. FC Köln, made the leap to professionalism at 1. FC Nürnberg in 2011 and has played a total of 13 Bundesliga games for the “Club” (2011/12) and Darmstadt 98 (2016/17). .
